About Winston Waterworks

Winston Waterworks is a new water park in Winston-Salem that includes a pool, a lazy river, a spray ground, water slides, and a concessions area. Winston Waterworks is at Winston Lake and Waterworks Roads and the water park will be open from noon to 6 p.m. on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays and on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays from noon until 8 p.m. Before noon, kids’ programs will be offered and parents can sign up their children for those programs by calling (336) 734-1212.

The park’s lazy river measures 675 feet and takes about five minutes to float around one time. The waterpark is a family-oriented place where children and their parents or caregivers can have fun in the water together. You can bring in pre-packaged snacks and drinks to the pool which is great for budget-conscious families. For more rules, see here.

Special Programs

Day Care, Day Camp, or Other Adult-Supervised Group Visits

Winston Waterworks welcomes visits by daycare centers, day camps, and similar groups on Mondays through Fridays between the hours of 10 a.m. and noon. Daycare visits will be scheduled in June through August (except July 4). Any daycare, day camp or another group where kids are supervised by adults that wish to visit must contact the Recreation & Parks office prior to arriving at Winston Waterworks.
