Kersey Valley Maize Adventure FAQs

Can you buy food at Kersey Valley Maize Adventure?

Yes! Tumbleweeds is our state-inspected kitchen serving a convenient lunch menu: Hot Dogs, Sausage Dogs, Chicken Tenders, French Fries, Grilled Cheese, Apple Slices, Funnel Cakes, Pretzels, fried Oreos, fried pickles, whole pickles, popcorn, walking tacos, nachos, and cheese, chocolate-covered bananas, fruit-shoot drinks, plus Red Bull and Pepsi products.

Are there popular snacks to order here?

Our Caramel Kettle Corn and Lemonade Maze Coolers are hands-down what people come back for year after year. They’re made fresh all day long as is our Apple Cider Donuts. All are very popular, and many guests purchase more to take home with them.

Can you bring your own food?

Yes, you are allowed to bring your own lunch or even have pizza delivered here. Please greet your pizza delivery driver at the main entrance.

How do you make the corn maze?

In 2019, we started using a GPS planter to create the corn maze. The planter is programmed with the maze design, omitting a seed when it reaches a path. This allows us to create more intricate designs and a better interactive experience for maze visitors with surprise twists and turns. Plus the design grows with the corn, allowing our team to learn the maze as the corn grows. You’ll be asking, how’d they do that? Now you know.

Do all guests have to buy a ticket?

Yes, you must purchase a ticket to enter the park. Ages 3 and under are FREE and will receive a wristband to participate in any activities we offer during the Maize Adventure.

Can I bring my dog?

Yes, we allow friendly dogs on a leash. You’ll find a doggie water bar at the Snack Shack. Please pick up after your dog while you are on the property. There are many children running around, and it’s just plain common sense and courtesy. We provide doggy poop stations with bags and gloves outside the maze. Please take supplies with you.

Why does the park close at 4:00 p.m.?

We close the ticket sales at 4 PM because we have so much to do and we want you to have plenty of time to experience it all.
