About Spraygrounds
Spraygrounds are water playgrounds with fixtures and fountains that spray water. The splash pad at Bolton Pool is not technically a splash pad/sprayground because it sits in water, unlike true splash pads.
About Bolton Pool Sprayground
Bolton Park is a Winston-Salem city park with a playground, picnic shelter, restrooms, grills, a water fountain, volleyball, fitness course, pool, and now a sprayground. This park’s sprayground is the perfect size for 10-20 children to enjoy comfortably. The structures are ideally suited for all ages because they sit in standing water and make a great place to relax with young children. The sprayground has the following features:
- Two large mushroom-shaped umbrella poles that cascade water off like a shower
- A tall pole with multiple buckets that dump water
- Two other pole sprinklers
- Multiple ball-shaped structures that shoot geysers
