About Crawford Park
Crawford Park is one of Winston-Salem’s historic parks located off Oak Ridge Drive. Established in 1974, the park was originally known as North Hampton Park. It was renamed in 1980 for Rev. W. R. Crawford, in recognition of his service on the city’s board of alderman, from 1951to 1961. Crawford Park features a playground, restrooms, picnic shelter, softball, and basketball, and walking trails. and much much more.
