Hartley Drive Family YMCA Sprayground

Hartley Drive Family YMCA Splash Pad is one of several new spraygrounds/splash pads in High Point, NC, and is free for YMCA members. Non-Member Guests can enjoy the Splash Pad for $5 per visit. Summer campers and After School children get to enjoy the Splash Pad on a regular basis.

About Spraygrounds

The Splash Pad is an interactive, zero-depth water park designed for all ages. Splash Pad activities include spraying, splashing, dumping, and walk-through features. They are similar to water play areas, such as those found at area pools, with a significant difference: spraygrounds are not set in standing water, making them safer for children. A popular alternative to swimming pools, spraygrounds are free, do not need staff, and save resources by recirculating and filtering the water.

How to Use a Sprayground

Push the button, mounted near the edge of the sprayground, to activate the water for 15 minutes. If nobody pushes the button again within 15 minutes, the water will stop.

About Hartley Drive Family YMCA YMCA Sprayground

Hartley Drive Family YMCA is a High Point area gym/community center with basketball courts, pool, fitness center, restrooms, picnic areas, and, of course, a sprayground. This YMCA’s sprayground is the perfect size for 15-20 children to enjoy comfortably. The structures are ideally suited for children under 10 because older/taller kids may become bored quite quickly. The sprayground has the following features:

  • Tall pole structures with multiple buckets that pour water
  • Multiple structures with a spinning wheel that blasts water
  • Several water geysers that shoot from ground level
  • Several fun jet sprayers that can be shot at other kids for fun

  • $5 per person for non-members

Private Parties/Rentals

The Splash Pad is a great setting for a group outing or your child’s next birthday party. Rentals include exclusive use of the Splash Pad and a Water Ranger.

Field Trips

Field trip rentals are reserved for churches, schools, civic groups, clubs, and other non-profits. Field trips include one hour of Splash Pad use and are available during splash pad operating hours. The field trip fee is $3 per child.

Birthday Parties

Two-hour party rentals are available for up to 20 guests during Splash Pad Operating Hours. The rental fee is $125 for Members and $175 for Non-Members. Birthday party rentals are available for up to 40 guests with exclusive use of the splash pad after splash pad operating hours for an additional $25.

Cost

A $50.00 non-refundable deposit is required for party rentals to secure reservations.
