About The Playground Area
High Point Athletic Complex is a High Point city park with a playground, ball fields for kids of all ages and abilities, areas for adults to exercise, and restrooms to suit every need. It features a fantastic playground with a rubberized surface and areas for parents or guardians to attend to their children. The playground has the following features:
- A fully accessible playground structure with ramps
- A wheelchair swing
- Rock climbing wall
- Stepping stone play structures
- Monkey bars and climbing apparatuses
- Low to the ground stairs and ladders
High Point Athletic Complex is special for its accessibility and catering to those with disabilities. High Point is now one of a handful of communities in the entire state of North Carolina to offer a haven for children who deserve the chance to enjoy the chance and joy of playing baseball. In addition to the specialized baseball field, there is also a handicapped-accessible playground that will provide hours of fun for children.
