Not only is the Jerry Long YMCA the go-to place for health, exercise, and community but it also has a fantastic open to the public playground as well. It features a twirling two-story-high slide, two other slides, walking obstacles, climbing structures, and a realistic rock wall that is sure to please.

Jerry Long YMCA in Clemmons, NC is now at the hub of everything. It can now be accessed from Peacehaven Road and Lewisville-Clemmons Road now that the new Publix shopping center has opened. This YMCA campus features not one but TWO playgrounds. A larger playground for older and more advanced kids and a secondary gated playground behind the YMCA building for smaller children.

The larger playground is on the opposite side of the parking lot from the Jerry Long YMCA is built for older children (3+) and features a tall twisty slide, rock-climbing structure, balance bridge, two racing slides, and monkey bars. The playground also is home to 6 adult swings, workout bars, and pullup equipment.

There is also an additional children’s playground behind the Jerry Long YMCA. Adjacent to a picnic shelter, the children’s playground is gated with soft mulch, multiple bucket swings, a small fish-themed bridge playset, and a medium-sized playset with multiple slides, stairs, and climbing apparatus.
