About Reynolds Park Playground
Reynolds Park & William Roscoe Anderson Jr. Community Center is part of a Winston-Salem city park with a playground, picnic shelter, restrooms, basketball court, public pool, community center, and sprayground. This sprawling park off Reynolds Park Road is full of fun and brand new equipment that is breathing life into this area of Winston-Salem along with the newly-opened Quarry Park. It features two fantastic new playgrounds that appeal to both younger and older kids that have a conveniently shaded picnic shelters and a cool sprayground nearby.
Reynolds Park Playgrounds Features
The smaller playground has the following features:
- A one-story structure with many climbing opportunities
- A narrow slide for deft climbers
- An awesome spinning platform for daring children
- Multiple ladders and climbing structures for all ages
- Very cool stepping stones to work on balance
- A rock-climbing wall on two sections
- A swing set with two swings for older kids and two bucket swings for smaller kids
The larger playground has the following features:
- A three-story structure with many climbing opportunities
- A tall 3-story slide that spirals
- An awesome merry-go-round with ropes
- Multiple ladders and rope-climbing structures for all ages
- Multiple swings (no bucket swings)
- Two 2-story racing slides
- A huge staircase to climb up to the observation area
- A fun bouncing bridge underneath the structure
