About Warnersville Pool
Warnersville Pool serves the area of Greensboro, NC just south of downtown and the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. The pool is large and can suit up to 75+ swimmers and offers multiple lanes, The pool has the following features:

- Thursdays through Tuesdays
- 1:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m.

Warnersville Pool Rules
Pool Rules
- Children under the age of 13 are not allowed in the pool without the supervision of a parent or guardian age 16 or older.
- All children must pass a swim test before they are allowed beyond 5 feet of water.
- Only US Coast Guard-approved life vests are allowed in the pool. All other floatation devices (floaties, pool rings, balls, noodles, etc.) are prohibited.
- All swimmers must wear swimsuits that are specifically made for swimming or are made of athletic material. Jeans, cut-offs, sweat pants, street clothes, etc. are not allowed in the pool.
- Please, shower before entering the pool.
- No Running.
- No boisterous or rough play.
- No diving is allowed in areas of the pool less than 5 feet deep or in pools not approved for diving.
- Adults should not swim alone.
- No person under the influence of alcohol or drugs may enter the pool area.
- No person with skin, eye, ear, or nasal infections is allowed in the pool.
- No person with a communicable disease is allowed in the pool.
- No animals or pets are allowed in the pool or on the deck. Service animals are welcome but may not enter the water.
- No glass is allowed in the pool area.
- All persons using the pool do so at their own risk. Owners and management are not responsible for accidents or injuries.
- The emergency phone and First Aid kit are located in the lifeguard office.
- No smoking inside of pool gates. Smoking is only allowed in the designated area.
- Stay off lane lines, marker lines, buoys, and fences.
- No food on the pool deck. Food and drinks are permitted in the picnic area only.
- Keep legs and arms out of skimmers.
- No gum or candy while in the pool.
- No diapers in the pool. Only swim diapers are allowed.
- Everyone that enters the pool area must pay the admittance fee.
- Patrons that leave the pool and wish to return the same day must get their hands stamped.
- To provide a family atmosphere for all, abusive/profane language and excessive public displays of affection will not be allowed.
- Distracting the attention of the lifeguard is prohibited. Lifeguards are on duty to enforce rules for your safety and to respond to emergencies. Please obey their requests.
- Management reserves the right to deny the use of the pool to anyone at any time.
Warnersville Pool Swim Lessons
Information About Greensboro City Swim Lessons
- Classes are offered from ages 4 months to 12-years-old
- Parks and Recreation partners with Swim Fanatics to offer lessons at City outdoor pools and swim teams
- Adaptive Swim Lessons- A unique swim program for children with physical, social, or cognitive challenges
- Summer League Swim Team
- Cost: $175 per child for the season, or $155 for siblings (Scholarships are available for families with financial need.)
- Ages: 5-18
- All classes are taught by USA Swimming certified coaches. Swimmers will develop skills throughout the summer with regular practice and competition. To apply for a scholarship, inquire when filling out the registration and consent form.

Warnersville Pool Party Rentals
Rentals include access to all areas of the pool and lifeguards will be provided. Contact the Aquatics Office for more information at 336-373-7879.

- Lifeguard Fee: $30 per guard
- Available for rent:
- June-July – daily, 5:30 – 7:30 p.m.
- August – Fridays and Saturdays, 5:30 – 7:30 p.m.
