Greensboro Children’s Museum Exhibits

Main Street

In Our Town, children go to work on Main Street with realistic and hands-on exhibits from a grocery store, to a construction site and even a dentist and hospital room.

The Market

Shop for healthy and delicious food in our market with bags, baskets, and shopping carts. Also, learn how to checkout with your items at our cash register stations.

Tinker Station

Using various geometric elements, kids create and construct contraptions from their imagination or templates.

Pizza Pan

Young children can put on an apron and get to work in our pizza kitchen with a soda and water station, brick pizza oven, and sink area to run your very own Italian restaurant. Serve up friends and family some delicious pizza and sides.

Our Town Theater

Put on a costume and act out your favorite movie, tv-show, or play at our very own theater. The stage is large and ready to accommodate a large acting troupe. Act away with soundstage and realistic curtain calls.

Outdoor Play Plaza

Travel through the Neptune Lobby and stop to take a photo in the #BigRedChair before heading out to our Outdoor Play Plaza. The Plaza: Consisting of two European-imported 30-foot-tall Neptune XXL Climbers connected by a 25-foot suspended net tunnel, the Outdoor Play Plaza taps into a child’s creative level of problem-solving, teaching children how to go from point A to point B with no specified path, and the rope structures allow for visibility while kids play.

Get Out & Play

Climb aboard our real Volvo truck, inside a real police car, ambulance, fire truck, and more. Even use the gas tank and nozzle to fillup the race car with gas and reach the sky on a rock climbing wall.
