Anyone 16 or older must have a North Carolina State Fishing License to fish at Salem Lake or Winston Lake.
Salem Lake Operating Hours
- Monday – Friday – 8:00 a.m. – 7:30 p.m.
- Saturday & Sunday – 7:00 a.m. – 7:30 p.m.
- All Water-related activities including pier fishing, paddling, and boat fishing end at 6:45 p.m.
Salem Lake Marina Bait Shop Hours:
- Monday – Friday – 8:00 a.m. – 6:45 p.m.
- Saturday & Sunday – 7:00 a.m. – 6:45 p.m.
- Gate locks nightly at 7:30 p.m.
