About Yadkinville, NC
The Town of Yadkinville is located at the intersection of Highway 421 and Highway 601 in Yadkin County. Yadkin County was formed in 1850 from land that was once part of Surry County. The County is named for the Yadkin River; which forms the northern and eastern boundaries of the county. Yadkin County’s unique farming background and fertile soil make it a destination for wine lovers and home to many wineries.

Yadkinville, NC offers lots of fun for kids and big kids alike in the form of its many area parks. They have wonderful playgrounds, picnic shelters, picnic tables, grills, and stages for public events. During the summer you can enjoy in the park concerts.
Yadkinville Kid’s Attractions
- Yadkin County Park: A great city park with a wonderful playground to honor Lance Corporal Daniel Freeman Swaim, additional soccer fields, a fishing pier, an expanded disc golf course, and a small picnic shelter beside the playground.
- Yadkinville Community Park: This park offers lots of fun for kids and big kids alike. A walking trail goes around the park, it has a wonderful playground, picnic shelter, picnic tables, grills, and a stage.
