Yadkin County Park Playground

Yadkin County Park is an amazing park off of Highway 421 in Yadkinville that features a fun-sized playground, swings, and a picnic area. The playground is partially covered and provides an excellent escape for local children.

About Yadkin County Park Playground

The new playground at Yadkin County Park is known as “Daniel’s Playground” in memory of Lance Cpl. Daniel Swaim, a Marine from Yadkin County who was killed in Iraq in 2005. The best part about the playground is that sits right next to restrooms, a picnic shelter, and the YMCA. Other fun ‘playground-type elements at Yadkin County Park are a military tank and helicopter.

The park’s playground includes:

  • A merry-go-round
  • A fun playhouse to play inside
  • A piano and drum interactive display
  • A three-story play structure that is partially covered
  • Two rocking-horse tractor toys
  • Multiple slides
  • A rock-climbing wall
  • Multiple bucket swings for smaller kids and regular swings for independent swingers
  • Monkey bars
  • Multiple climbing elements
