Tanglewood Park Playground
Tanglewood Park offers state-of-the-art playgrounds on opposite ends of the park. Playgrounds are located adjacent to Shelter #4 and Mallard Lake. Public picnic areas and restrooms are available at each playground. Both playgrounds are open year-round, daily from 7 am to dusk. The playgrounds are open to the public at all times and cannot be reserved.
Tanglewood Park is the former estate of Will and Katherine Reynolds (Winston-Salem royalty). Now it has been turned into a public park, Tanglewood offers fishing on two stocked lakes, pedal boats, tennis courts, an Aquatic Center, picnic shelters, rental venues, trail systems, horse stables, gardens, golf, and most importantly…playgrounds.
