Creekside Park Playground Features
Creekside Park is located in Archdale, NC, and has something for everyone. The park includes 2 playgrounds (1 inclusive), 3 miles of asphalt trails, a disc golf course, ball fields, shelters, sand volleyball, basketball, and tennis/pickleball courts.
Creekside Park is Archdale’s 103-acre, municipal-owned park. The park’s features include Barkdale dog park, basketball court, 18-hole and 6-hole beginner loop disc golf course, electric car charging stations, and Archdale Recreation Center. The Rec Center is located in the park and includes a full-size gymnasium and 2 meeting rooms.
The park’s newest (inclusive) playground includes:
- A 2-story structure with bridges
- Multiple rock-climbing walls
- 3-4 turret/treehouse structures that are covered
- Multiple monkey bars
- Rope climbing areas
- 8 different swings for larger and smaller kids (including handicap accessible ones)
- Tree stump jumping logs
- 4 huge blue slides
- Interactive merry-go-round with rope structures
The park’s older/smaller playground includes:
- 5 Slides
- A two-story playground structure
- A rock-climbing surface
- An enclosed climbing tunnel
- Safe steps and hand-rails for smaller kids
- Park benches for adults and guardians
- Monkey bars and climbing areas
- A fireman’s pole
- 6 different swings
