Ideally located off of Main Street south of downtown Archdale and sandwiched between Interstate 85 and Interstate 74, Creekside Park has something for everyone: dog parks, disc golf, playgrounds, trails, sports courts, and more.

Creekside Park is a public park off of Main Street in Archdale, NC. This park has a lot of variety and is a central hub for outdoor activity in Archdale. It boasts recreation centers, tennis, baseball, volleyball, and basketball courts, trails, two amazing playgrounds, and unique hard-to-find activities like an orienteering course and disc golf course.

Creekside Park Disc Golf Course

About

Creekside Park’s Disc Golf Course is an 18-hole course designed for recreational play as well as tournament play. The Course was designed by Russell Schwarz with Innova Disc Golf and was officially opened in 2011. The course also has a 6-hole novice loop designed for beginners and senior adults.

Creekside Park Orienteering Course

About

Creekside Park’s Orienteering Course is a 1.24-mile course consisting of 12 control points, where an individual or group can test their navigation skills through diverse terrain. An alternate course half-mile course is also available which avoids the woods.

Whether for leisure or competition, participants can race against the clock to locate the control points. All that is needed to complete the course is a compass, or a smartphone compass application, and the course map (listing the distance and direction to each control point and showing their location relative to park features).

Shelter & Green Space Rentals

You may rent shelters and spaces at Creekside Park by clicking this link. If you would prefer to rent and pay in person, you must make an appointment by calling Misty at 336-434-7315. Our office is open 8:00am – 5:00pm.

Hosting Events at Creekside Park

Park facilities used to host special events that are open to the public require a written request to the City of Archdale describing the event in detail, including insurance information/coverage. This information must be submitted no fewer than 90 working days prior to the date of the event.
