High Point City Lake Park is open daily whether you enjoy boating and fishing (permits required), enjoying a picnic, playing on the playground, or enjoy amusement rides. This park has ten picnic shelters that range in capacity, with the largest hosting up to 600 people. The highlights of High Point City Lake Park are the rides! The park features a merry-go-round, train ride, 30-passenger boat rides, miniature golf course, concession stand, canoe and pedal boats, marina, indoor gymnasium, a huge 165′ x 230′ handicap accessible pool that is handicap accessible, and fun water slides.

There are 10 picnic shelters for rent with seating capacity ranging from 40-600 people. Shelter fees vary according to shelter size and amount of time rented. Reservations are recommended. There are also free-standing picnic tables and grills located in the main part of the park available on a first-come basis.

High Point City Lake Park is open 7 days a week. Closed Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Eve, and Christmas Day.
Seasonal Hours:

High Point City Lake Park Boating & Fishing
Bank and boat fishing are allowed with proper permits and licenses. Private boats with less than a 9.9 HP motor may launch at the Marina ramp. Fishing boats are available to rent year-round. Canoes, pedal boats, kayaks, and stand-up paddle-boards can be rented seasonally.
- Rental boats need to be off the water 1 hour before closing.
- Private boats need to be off the water 30 minutes before closing.
- Canoes, Kayaks and Stand Up Paddleboards are available for rental.
- Pontoon Boat Tours (30 passengers) are also available.
