About Yadkin County Park Playground
The new playground at Yadkin County Park is known as “Daniel’s Playground” in memory of Lance Cpl. Daniel Swaim, a Marine from Yadkin County who was killed in Iraq in 2005. The best part about the playground is that sits right next to restrooms, a picnic shelter, and the YMCA. Other fun ‘playground-type elements at Yadkin County Park are a military tank and helicopter.
