Bur-Mil Park is an expansive 250-acre North Greensboro park that features a clubhouse, a nine-hole lighted par 3 golf course, driving range, outdoor aquatic center, Wildlife Education Center, fishing ponds, the Lake Brandt pier, tennis courts, pickleball courts, horseshoe pits, volleyball courts, hiking and bicycle trails, and picnic shelters.

Country Park

 

Country Park in Greensboro is home to the Guilford County Veteran’s Memorial, a BarkPark (off-leash dog park), sno-balls snow cone shop, and a BMX bike course along with picnic shelters, playgrounds, and trails. The park sits adjacent to the Greensboro Science Center and even occupies land that was once a battleground which makes it perfect for history hounds. Opened in 1934, Country Park is recognized as a National Historic Landmark. Country Park’s history dates back as part of the Battle of Guilford Courthouse site during the Revolutionary War. Country Park has many special features that allow persons of all abilities to participate in year-round recreational activities. The park staff works to comply with ADA recommendations and guidelines.
